Cafecito Club: Great Coffee, Better People
Once a month, Miami’s commercial real estate crowd shows up to a coffee shop with no agenda. That’s Cafecito Club.
No panel. No pitch deck. No name tags. No ticket. Just a morning where brokers, developers, lenders, architects, attorneys, contractors, and the people who make this city’s buildings happen stand around with a cortadito and talk. (If you’re drinking Frappuccinos, you’re not welcome) Some of the best deals, hires, and partnerships in this market started with a conversation that had no agenda. We built Cafecito Club to make more of those conversations happen.
How it works
We pick a coffee spot and you show up around 9 AM-ish. “Ish” is deliberate. Show up when you can, leave when you need to. Some people stay 20 minutes on the way to the office. Some are still there at 11.
The venue moves. We like to check out new coffee shops throughout Miami’s neighborhoods, because the people worth meeting in Coconut Grove aren’t always the people you’d run into downtown.
Who comes
Anyone in the built world. Industrial, office, retail, multifamily, land, capital, design, construction, proptech. Veterans with 30 years of deals and people in their first year who want to figure out how the 305 works. The mix is the point. If you only ever talk to people who do exactly what you do, you’re missing most of the market.
